PRIVATE LAKES

Thornburgh’s private lakes offer an oasis of rest and recreation measuring 1,800 feet from end to end. The lakes can be accessed via the Thornburgh Beach Club, or at one of the other community beaches. Grab a paddleboard, or kayak for an early morning workout, relax on a lounger on the beach, or pick up a game of sand volleyball on one of the courts. Swim in the lake itself, or one of the three pools at the aquatic center. The private trail system at Thornburgh wraps around the north side of the lake and spreads out all across the community. With the Thornburgh Village as home base, run, walk or bike around the lake or up into the foothills of Cline Buttes. The Tribute Golf Course wraps itself around the south side of the lake, allowing you to cap the day with a round of golf with family or friends.

Thornburgh’s lakes are connected via a bubbling river with white water, and natural eddies, the perfect habitat for the lake’s trout, offering a sanctuary for those seeking to escape the everyday hustle and bustle, or just to reconnect with nature.
